School of Art
I am the head of the Textile Art program, which recently relocated to a fabulous new facility in the Center for Visual Arts.
WORKED AT KENT STATE SINCE:
EMPLOYMENT PRIOR TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
Graduate teaching assistant at the University of Michigan
LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
The campus, the people – great colleagues and students, and the cultural activities
ATTRACTION TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY AS AN EMPLOYER:
The School of Art has an excellent reputation and supports a breadth of programming that I see as critical to providing students with a strong foundation in the visual arts.
M.F.A., the University of Michigan; B.F.A. Tyler School of Art, Temple University
When I am not at school with my students, I am actively engaged in my studio art practice – weaving on my digital jacquard loom. Walking, bicycling and working out at the Rec Center are also integral to my life, as is enjoying the music of my husband, Al Moss.
