JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a counseling specialist, I provide counseling services to students attending Kent State University at Ashtabula. I also conduct workshops and presentations regarding wellness and mental health to students, faculty and staff. An important part of this position is serving on university and community committees and coalitions.

EMPLOYMENT PRIOR TO KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:

I previously was a mental health therapist at PsyCare and an academic encourager and adjunct instructor at Youngstown State University.

Working with students is so much fun! I enjoy helping them to reach their academic and personal goals.

I have a  Master of Social Work degree from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Youngstown State University.
