Join the Kent State Women’s Golf League

The Kent State Women’s Golf League now has openings for the upcoming season and encourages Kent State women golfers of any ability, whether employed or retired, to join. Tee times begin at 4:45 p.m. on Monday afternoons. The league consists of 10 two-partner teams competing in a friendly atmosphere throughout the summer.

The league has been in existence since the 1960s, when a physical education instructor at the university decided he wanted to teach female employees of Kent State how to golf and to enjoy the game. The league continues to this day, golfing nine holes each Monday afternoon at the Kent State course.

For more details about the league, contact Betsy Mako at bmako@kent.edu.
