Summer Advantage Helps Diverse Students Graduate In Four Years

Summer Advantage is an educational journey based on career exploration, success coaching and academic coursework. The program is designed to assist underrepresented freshmen, sophomores and juniors in graduating in four years and envisioning a path for the future by building a support network of peers and professional staff.
 

You may know students who could benefit from the Summer Advantage program. For six weeks in June and July, Summer Advantage participants take up to two courses and share a career exploration and success coaching experience. 

 

What’s Included?

  • Up to two free summer courses and academic support
  • Research, internship and co-op opportunity support
  • Cultural events and service learning ventures
  • Success coaching workshops
  • Career exploration and skill building

Program dates are June 4 to July 13, 2018. There is no cost to students who are selected to participate, and they can commute or stay on campus while they attend Summer Advantage.
