We are pleased to remind you that University Health Services will hold an additional walk-in flu vaccine clinic on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 3-5 p.m. Walk-ins will be handled first come, first served, with no appointment necessary.
Employees covered by one of the university-sponsored group health plans through Medical Mutual or Anthem, as well as their covered dependents, will have no charge for the flu shot. Employees should bring their insurance ID card. If you are not covered by one of the university's group health plans, you can still get a flu shot for $30. Make checks payable to Kent State University.
To streamline the process, please download the Flu Vaccine Consent form and Flu Vaccine Insurance Billing form from the Employee Wellness website at www.kent.edu/hr/benefits/flu-shot-clinics.
As a reminder, the flu shot clinic is open to all students, faculty, staff and dependents. If you are unable to attend the walk-in time, you may contact University Health Services to arrange an alternative appointment.
