Veronica Cook-Euell Earns Supplier Diversity Leadership Award

The Asian-American Commerce Group (AACG) of Columbus selected Kent State University’s Veronica Cook-Euell for its Supplier Diversity Leadership Award at the 2016 Ohio Asian Awards.

The Supplier Diversity Leadership Award recognizes a person who has championed supplier diversity within their organization, the general business community and the Asian-American business community.

The awards gala was held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Hollywood Casino Columbus.

“I feel honored to be recognized by the Asian-American Commerce Group,” says Cook-Euell, supplier diversity program manager at Kent State. “To know they are recognizing not only my work at Kent State University and within the Asian community, but within supplier diversity as a whole is so meaningful to me. It’s also very humbling to be recognized for my passion, and be awarded by people I respect, admire and advocate for.”

Through the Ohio Asian Awards, the Asian-American Commerce Group recognizes and celebrates local businesses and community leaders for their contribution to the success of the Asian-American Community in Ohio.
