Applying for Graduate Assistantship

Graduate Assistantships are available on a competitive basis and are limited to two years of study. As Graduate Assistants, most graduate students in the TESL program serve as ESL Center instructors and tutors. Limited opportunities for research assistantships and non-teaching fellowships are also available. Stipends are competitive and include a waiver of tuition and fees.

APPLICATIONS

All applications that are received by the priority deadline (January 15) for fall admission are considered automatically for an assistantship. Late applications may be considered for an assistantship. Applications for spring or summer admission are not considered for an assistantship.
