As a part of the Student Success Series, "Fire in the Heartland" is a video being shown in an effort to help you understand the tragic events of those early days in May 1970 at Kent State University and the context of what was happening across America.
"Fire in the Heartland" was produced and edited by Daniel Miller, a former Kent State student. The film is 86 minutes in length. A post-viewing discussion will follow immediately and will be facilitated by a discussion leader.
