Educational systems all over the world are facing the growing influence of new media. In this presentation, researchers from Krasnoyarsk, Siberia discuss the case of Russia where this process is highly intense and full of contradictions. They argue that the media plays a very powerful transformative role in a wide range of educational topics, from cultural and social values to strategic state initiatives. The presenters will consider the following questions: Can we combine the education and the new media in an efficient way? Should we address this problem on the global or local level? Find out more.
