This is a hands-on session designed to demonstrate the basic functions of Report Studio, to write Cognos reports. Attendees should have basic knowledge of running Cognos reports as a consumer. Topics include designing basic reports, adding filters, building prompts, grouping and sorting data and aggregation. To attend this session it is recommended that attendees have access to Report Studio. Contact your departmental security administrator to request access. This is a 2.5 hour class.

This workshop covers the features of the Blackboard Learn Grade Center. The Grade Center allows faculty to record grades, calculate grades and monitor student progress. Using the Grade Center, faculty can provide and manage students' grades for a variety of assessments, including assignments, tests, discussion board posts and journals. Faculty can also create grade columns for any activities or requirements that require grading but do not require submission through Blackboard, such as special projects, participation or attendance. **FOR INSTRUCTORS ONLY**

This workshop will provide an informative look at the process of adding captions to video content. Topics include basic technical terminology, what videos could be captioned, captioning standards, example workflows, outsourcing and software requirements. Participants will learn how Student Accessibility Services collaborates with faculty to create captioned content for registered students. There will be time for Q&A. Video demonstration is used, but this is not a hands-on workshop.
