The Studio

Located in midtown Manhattan’s Garment District, which generates over $14 billion in annual sales, the NYC Studio shares its neighborhood with renowned fashion designers, showrooms, fabric and accessory suppliers, theatres, arts organizations, as well as New York City attractions, hotels, restaurants and cafes.

The facility is a state-of-the art, 4,500-square-foot space and includes a 50-person lecture room, 16-station computer lab with instructor station and a fashion design studio fully outfitted with professional equipment. The industrial machines include: 12 Juki single needle sewing machines, one Juki 5-thread overlock serger and one Union Special 4-thread cover stitch sewing machine. The design studio is also equipped with three Naomoto pneumatic irons, a 22-foot long industrial cutting table, three Wolf full-body male forms and arms and 10 Wolf female dress forms.
