Summer Costs

Students are responsible for paying Kent State University tuition costs plus a non-refundable, non-transferable program fee.

Tuition is determined by a student’s in-state or out-of-state tuition status and during the summer, tuition costs are calculated per credit hour. Students are required to enroll in at least 6 credit hours, with the option of registering for up to 12 credits. For more detailed information on summer tuition costs, please refer to the Kent State University tuition details on the Admissions website.

The non-refundable, non-transferable program fee is $1,500 for the summer session. In addition, please budget for such expenses as food, personal spending, incidentals, and all travel-related expenses, which are not included in your tuition and program fee.
