Fabrizio Babino has joined us as an adjunct instructor teaching Fashion in the Media. Fabrizio began his career at IT Holding, where he redeveloped collections, oversaw both marketing & wholesale divisions for renowned designers, John Galliano, Roberto Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferre and Ennio Capasa. Simultaneously, he consulted for Karl Lagerfeld, Pierre Balmain, and Sonia Rykiel. Due to his passion for photography, Fabrizio Babino also consulted as a stylist. His editorial work has been placed in L’Officiel, ELLE, Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan, WWD and Nylon, among others.
Throughout his career, he consulted on top-tier brands across hospitality, entertainment, fashion, food and charitable industries. Offering a unique approach to publicity campaigns, talent management, unique activations, inventive brand strategy, digital campaigns, outside of the box creative/art direction, and strategically plotted brand partnerships. Fabrizio has currently launched his music career and has released two debut singles.
After 14 years in the business, the connection with his students and the ability to give back to them is a passion of his. With a rounded background in areas such as styling, music, retail, merchandising, wholesale, marketing, and branding/public relations, he is confident that he will offer a fresh approach to the classroom. He also teaches at both The Fashion Institute of Technology and Laboratory Institute of Merchandising.
