2018 College of the Arts Award Recipients in Fashion

Fashion School Instructor, William Perrine

 

We would like to congratulate the Fashion School faculty and alumni award recipients for the 2018 College of the Arts Distinguished Alumni and Faculty Awards. 

 

Fashion School Professor, Margarita BenitezRecipients were chosen based on the number of nominations they received by College of the Arts faculty, staff, alumni and students. William Perrine, senior lecturer and Study-Away Program Coordinator, won the Distinguished Achievement in Service Faculty Award. Margarita Benitez, associate professor, won the Distinguished Achievement in Research or Creative Activity Faculty Award. Kristy Chen, a 2008 fashion design graduate who is now the design director at The Donna Karan Company (DKNY), was one of two recipients for the Outstanding Young Professional Alumni Award. 

 

The winners will be honored during the annual awards reception on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 6 pm in the main lobby of the Center for the Visual Arts building. Congratulations to all of the winners!
