Design Students' Work Shown at Cleveland Botanical Garden

Six junior design students at the Fashion School recently displayed orchid-inspired garments at the Cleveland Botanical Garden. The month-long installation culminated in the third annual "Fashion Meets the Botanicals" on March 5, in which guests voted for their favorite designs in three categories: "Best Use of Inspiration," "Best Fabric Design" and "Best in Show." This year's winners were Claudia Ramirez (Best Use of Inspiration), Jaanai Jones (Best Fabric Design) and Li Liu (Best in Show). Also participating were Maame Abena Amoah, Jessica Musto (designer not pictured) and Emily Thomas, along with Associate Professor Linda Ohrn-McDaniel (designer not pictured), who contributed a floral creation of her own.
