Fashion Meets the Botanicals on March 9 at the Cleveland Botanical Garden
The Kent State University Museum and Fashion School invite you to attend the sixth annual Fashion Meets the Botanicals reception on March 9 at the Cleveland Botanical Garden from 3-5 pm.
Attendees will enjoy an orchid-inspired fashion show featuring garments produced by Kent Fashion School students while enjoying the incomparable surroundings of the Garden.
Guests will have the opportunity to savor wine and refreshments as they admire the Garden and the botanically-inspired fashions. At 4 pm, the event culminates with an award ceremony honoring the top designs in the categories of “Best Use of Inspiration”, “Best Fabric Design” and the prestigious, “Best in Show” as picked by Botanical Garden visitors.
Thirteen design students were chosen to compete in this year’s event. Their work will be on display in Garden Jan. 26 – March 9.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale for $35 a person and include admission to the Garden. All are invited to attend. All tickets will be held at the door. Reservations are required – RSVP by March 1 to secure your admission.

The Cleveland Botanical Garden is located at 11030 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. The Garden has convenient, onsite, paid parking or there is metered street parking throughout University Circle.
