The Office of Global Education (OGE) would like to invite all faculty members to attend a workshop designed to assist in the development of faculty-led study abroad programs.

Workshop topics:

  • The new Faculty-led Study Abroad Manual

  • Budget, travel, and other course arrangements

  • Visas and immigration logistics

  • Identifying potential study abroad locations

  • Connecting with on-site contacts if Kent State has a center or pre- established exchange in your destination

  • Creating promotional flyers

  • Using established marketing avenues, such as listservs, Facebook, and student advising sessions

  • Complying with OGE and KSU study abroad requirements

  • Completing the registration packet

  • Purchasing and distributing HTH Insurance Cards
