Information for Unit Administrators about Flash Survey
Q. I am an academic unit leader and want to give access to my unit's Flash Survey reports; how do I do that?
A. Please complete the Request for Flash Survey Report Data form. The person receiving the access will receive the reports sent to them automatically once access is granted.
Q. I am an academic unit leader and would like to add additional questions to the Flash Survey; how do I do that?
A. Beginning in Fall 2019, you will be able to ask additional questions to students in your courses.
Q. When can I view the reports for my courses?
A. The reports will be emailed to faculty and authorized academic administrators the Wednesday morning following the completion of Finals Week for Spring and Fall. For all summer terms (Intersession, Summer I, Summer II, and Summer III), the reports will be emailed to faculty the Wednesday morning following the completion of Summer III. For all Spring 2019 courses, the reports will be available on May 15, 2019; for all Summer 2019 courses, the reports will be released on August 21, 2019.
Q. Where can I locate historical reports for online courses for the Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure process?
A. Spring 2014 was a transitional semester and most of the online courses had their surveys administered via Flash Survey. For courses that ran prior to spring 2014, the reports for can be located at http://ssi.kent.edu.
Q. As an administrator, I have access to the reports located in Flash Survey but do not have access to the old survey platform located at http://ssi.kent.edu for historical reports; how do I can gain access?
A. Please open a ticket for the Flash Survey Administrator. Since the old survey platform is scheduled for retirement, no changes are being made unless necessary.
