Fall 2013-Spring 2015 Pilot | Flash Survey | Kent State University

Fall 2013-Spring 2015 Pilot

The Flash Survey pilot project was implemented with the following goals:

  • A single system to deliver the end-of-course survey to students regardless of course type.
  • A single system to house all end-of-course survey data for reporting.
  • A system that will allow students to complete the survey on their electronic devices.
  • A system that will allow faculty to view the survey results of their own courses in a more-timely manner than at present.
  • A system that will allow administrators to easily run reports on their academic units.
  • A system that will have a high rate of return on the surveys.
  • A system with a robust reporting system for better analysis of the survey results.
  • A system that will provide flexibility to academic units to add their own questions to the end-of-course survey without needing to use a separate system.
  • A system that is appealing to the students, faculty, and the administrators to use.
