Student Annual 2018

The School of Art Collection and Galleries at Kent State University presents “The Student Annual” from March 1 – March 16, 2018 at the CVA Gallery.  This year’s juror is former Chief Curator at the Akron Art Museum, Janice Driesbach.  Driesbach will choose a selection of undergraduate and graduate artwork to display at the School of Art’s main gallery and select several awards for outstanding submissions. The opening reception and award ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 1 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. The CVA Gallery is located at 325 Terrace Drive in Kent on the first floor of the Center for the Visual Arts. CVA Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Student Artwork Drop-off Information:

The Student Annual is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who are School of Art majors.  Drop off dates for 2018 are Tuesday, February 20 and Wednesday February 21 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the CVA Gallery.  Cost is $5 for up to two entries.  All proceeds help fund prizes for the exhibit.
