
Amy Murfello
Biography
Amy Murfello was born and raised in Geauga County and is passionate about the Geauga community. She is a graduate of Berkshire High School and Auburn Career Center where her area of focus was Information Technology. While working full-time at the Middlefield Banking Company, she attended Kent State University Geauga Campus as a part-time student and graduated in 2013. Amy has an Associate Degree in Accounting Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with some graduate courses completed.
Amy began working for Kent State University Geauga Campus and the Twinsburg Academic Center in 2014 as an Account Clerk II, where she supported the Business and Advancement Offices. In July of 2017, she took on another role which supported the Dean's Office as an Administrative Assistant. In April of 2018, Amy was promoted to Special Assistant, Dean's Office. Amy then began to serve on the campus' Marketing and Social Media Committees, write articles, and work on internal marketing initiatives. In September 2018, Amy served as the Interim Marketing & Communications, Manager along with her Special Assistant duties but has since been promoted to Marketing & Community Engagement, Manager.
