Danielle has worked in the Kent State University system in various capacities since 2008. Beginning as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Geauga and Ashtabula Campuses, Danielle taught courses The Art of the Theatre, Study Strategies, and First Year Experience, as well as offering support to full-time faculty from various departments as a guest speaker and long term substitute. In 2011, Danielle transitioned to the Ashtabula Campus full time as a Special Assistant to the Office of Academic Services where she directed the tutoring center, led academic success initiatives, and worked with campus members to build supportive programming for students in academic peril. Danielle transitioned once again to the role of Academic Advisor in 2015, primarily serving Kent State's Wine Degrees students. In this capacity, Danielle had the opportunity to showcase Kent State University across the state of Ohio and the nation. Danielle joined the Kent State Geauga team in September 2018 and currently directs advising and retention initiatives through the Geauga Advising and Academic Services Offices. Danielle also advises students in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services and the College of the Arts.
