- Student must have earned a KSU technical associate degree and be admitted to pursue a Bachelor's degree

- Applicants must meet be (1) a resident of theTwinsburg Township, or the Village of Remindervile, OR (2) a qualifying employee in the J.E.D.D. area, OR (3) the spouse/child/stepchild of a qualifying employee in the J.E.D.D. area.
- Applicants claiming eligibility under employment or dependent status of a qualifying employee must state both the name of the employee and name of the employer on the application

- Applicant must be an undergraduate student

- Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at the Kent State Geauga Campus or Regional Academic Center
- Applicant must have active involvement in ongoing community service
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
- Scholarship must be used for tuition
