Kent State Geauga is Getting a New Look

As Kent State Geauga continues to grow to meet the county’s needs, we will rely on our friends and neighbors to help build the campus’s future. In 2019, we began a comprehensive assessment to determine current and future campus facility needs including discussions with students, faculty, staff and community members.

Based on what we learned, we are embarking on two facility improvements for the Geauga Campus in Burton – constructing a new nursing lab and instructional space, and creating a new student learning commons. Both of these projects will help us meet the needs of our existing and future students, while allowing us to grow our programs and continue to be one of our county’s greatest resources.

"The Geauga Campus welcomes the launch of campus renovations—especially since many of the improvements will modernize classroom space for our students. Thank you for supporting and sustaining our campus as we transition from this challenging pandemic year. We thank the community for its continued support of our programs as we move into revitalizing the physical spaces on campus." - Angela Spalsbury, Ph.D., Dean and Chief Administrative Officer, Kent State University Geauga
