Andrea Peru earned his Laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia at the Università di Parma in 1987. In 1998 he earned a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the Università di Verona. Prof. Peru joined Kent State University Florence in 2012. His research interests cover cognitive function in children and adolescents, interhemispheric disconnection syndrome, and learning disorders. Among his publications are several journal articles, articles in miscellaneous books, co-edited books: Semantic category effects modulate visual priming in neglect patients (2012); Inhibition of return at foveal and extrafoveal locations: Re-assessing the evidence (2012); Integrazione e prassi di insegnamento: cosa pensano i docenti della scuola di base?
