Overview
Experience the vibrant Spanish language & culture in Madrid, Spain! Madrid is one of the liveliest European capitals, offering students numerous sporting, artistic, and cultural activities.
Location
UEM's campus is located outside of downtown Madrid. Students can choose to live in Madrid or closer to the university.
Academics
At the European University of Madrid (Universidad Europea de Madrid), courses are offered in English in the fields of:
- Advertising
- Broadcast Journalism
- Business Management
- Communications
- Finance
- International Relations
- Journalism
- Psychology
- Sports Management
- Marketing
Courses are available in English and Spanish, but you must have an Intermediate level Spanish fluency to take courses in Spanish. Not all courses are offered in English.
Living in Madrid
UEM does not offer student housing, but KSU students studying in Madrid will find a plethora of local apartments for rent in the city. Living in Madrid will be culturally and culinarily unforgettable. Transportation to all of Spain is at your fingertips given that Madrid is in the center of the country! Markets, parks, shops, bars, restaurants, museums, and a love of futbol are all essential elements to Madrid life.

Eligibility Requirements
- Full-time, degree-seeking student at Kent State
- Any major
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.5 or higher
- Intermediate level Spanish language is recommended
