Nicoletta Peluffo


Nicoletta Peluffo earned her undergraduate degree in Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Milan (I.U.L.M.). She attended the school for Interpreters and Translators in Florence. In 2003 she obtained her Ditals certificate from the University of Siena. Since then, she has been teaching Italian language and culture at Kent State University Florence. In 2010 she earned her Second Level Master Education Degree at the Università Cà Foscari in Venice. The focus of her final research was the promotion of Italian language and culture in US programs abroad. Since 2011 she has been cooperating with the University of Venice Cà Foscari in the creation of a professional community of practicing among teachers of Italian as a second/foreign language. Among her publications there are articles focused on language teaching and interactive practices in a language class and among practitioners. Prof. Peluffo is the Italian Language coordinator and the Education Program coordinator at Kent State University Florence.
