Simone Falcone  

Simone Falcone finished specializing in Sound Engineering in 2002 at Officina Giovani Prato and Enfap Toscana. His passion for music and recording led him to work as a professional dj as well as a sound engineer for various international groups in Florence until 2009. In the same period he was part of the staff of an Italian language school that was partner of Kent State University during the outset of the Florence Program. Part of his employment experience includes working for a software company in Florence.  He has also pursued further studies in sound and audio equipment. He joined the staff of KSU-Florence in 2005 and lends technical support to the Palazzo Vettori's state-of-the-art classroom and studio technology.  He also takes care of the maintenance of the entire facility, coordinating with suppliers and service companies. He is in charge of assisting professors during lessons that include the use of special equipment and he is the sound and video mixer during public lectures and conferences at Kent State University Florence Program. He’s a native of Florence, a musician, playing guitar and bass guitar, and a vintage vinyl collector.
