Overview

The University of Murcia is a public research university located in Southeastern Spain. Kent State students can take both business and education courses in English during the spring semester or for an entire academic year. Language courses for students studying Spanish are available, but are not typically included in the traditional exchange rate for Kent State students.

Location

Featuring many architectural feats like castles, cathedrals and Flower Square, Murcia is a beautiful city to explore. Flanked by the Mediterranean Sea about an hour outside of town, Murcia provides easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches along the sunny Spanish coastline. Closer yet is a mountainous regional park just four miles south of the city.

Academics

Some courses are taught in English in the following subject areas:

  • Business
  • Education

Students may also participate in a Spanish as a Second Language course for an additional cost.

Living in Murcia

Students will live in shared apartments with other students in the city center. The Espinardo campus, home to the education and business programs can easily be reached by public transport.
