Walk in the U.S., Talk in Japan Forum

Please join Kent State University and the Office of Global Education for a “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan,” a culture sharing program sponsored by KSU and the Japanese Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office. During the program, a panel of Japanese citizens from various backgrounds, led by former Japanese Ambassador to Venezuela, The Honorable Shuji Shimokoji, will share their perspectives above life in Japan while encouraging an open discussions with those in attendance. The goal of "Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan" is to increase awareness about Japan in the United States on a variety of issues and further develop the US-Japan relationship through people-to-people diplomacy. Because of its strong ties with Japan, Kent State University was selected as "a very fitting location" to hold such a forum. The forum is 90 minutes and involves a two-way dialogue between the panelists and the audience. Questions from the audience are most welcome.
