GRE Waiver for Graduate Programs

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, GRE testing has temporarily been waived from the application requirements for a number of our graduate programs – both master's and doctoral – including:

  • School Psychology (Eds, MEd only)

If your program is not listed and you are experiencing trouble completing the GRE, you are welcome to contact the graduate coordinator for your program to inquire about waiving the GRE requirement. The Graduate Admissions office is not able to waive the GRE without the consent of the graduate coordinator.

GRE Home Test
If you’re applying to a program that requires the GRE for admission and are having trouble finding an open testing site near you, ETS now offers the GRE general test at home. The remote option enables you to take a proctored test at home.
