Graduate Student Senate offers awards to assist graduate with travel, both domestically and internationally, and conducting research.

Graduate students may receive one DTA per semester, although preference will be given to new applicants (i.e., those who have not applied in a previous semester in the same academic year). Graduate students may receive one Special Contingency Award per graduate program. This award is scheduled on a rolling basis (almost) each month based on the Graduate Student Senate Meeting schedule. More information will be available soon!
This one time GSS book award is a non-competitive award that offers a flat rate of $200 to eligible graduate students to assist with the cost of books for classes, research, or mental health. Funding that is usually allocated to the ITA has been allocated for this award and will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis to a set number of applicants as determined by the executive board.
