How do recipients know when their DTA has been processed?
The Domestic Travel Award will be refunded to your Bursar account. This means that if you have a balance on your account, the award monies will be applied to the balance before being processed as a refund (if any funds remain after the balance has been taken care of). Navigating the Bursar webpage can be challenging. We recommend you visit this link for an overview on how to determine whether your refund has been issued and/or if the award money will be going toward a Bursar balance rather than as an actual refund.
DTA recipientscan check their Bursar account by logging into Flashline and visiting the "Student Dashboard." From there, recipients should click on "Student Account Balance." If the award has been processed, recipients will see "Graduate Student Senate Award" in their term detail report with the award monies in the "Payment" column. This indicates that this is a positive amount on recipients' account rather than an amount that is to-be-paid.
