How to Submit Application Materials

Review application requirements and prepare documents for your intended program prior to starting your application.

Application documents for your intended program may include, but are not limited to:

  • Transcripts
    Copies of official transcripts (front and back) are required at the time of application from all universities where 8 or more credit hours were earned.  Admitted students are required to submit official transcripts after they have accepted an offer of admission.   • GRE/GMAT scores
    Scores will only be accepted when sent directly from the test provider to the Division of Graduate Studies as an official test report.  Scores reported by applicants will not be accepted.
    Kent State University's GRE code is 1367 and GMAT code is N4Q.
  • Letters of Recommendation
    Using the online recommendation system expedites the application completion process, but we can also accept paper forms. As a last resort, you can ask your recommendation writer to complete a paper form and return to If you’re applying to a second program, you don’t need to resubmit your letters of recommendation. We are able to retrieve those for you and add them to your application.
