HCRI Launch Pad Awards

Through a competitive request for proposals process, the Healthy Communities Research Institute awards seed grants to promising research projects proposed by interdisciplinary teams from across the Kent State University community.  These grants are intended to support early research efforts in acquiring preliminary data upon which the team can build further research and propose more robust projects. You will find information on the projects from the 2017-18, 2018-19, and 2019-20 academic years that were awarded the HCRI seed grants. The RFP process typically begins in mid-April.  If you are interested in seed grant opportunities, please contact the HCRI co-directors so that you can be added to the HCRI listserv where seed grant announcements will be posted.

Prior to August 2021, HCRI was an initiative.
