Elizabeth Howard

“I enjoy teaching FHC because it is a colloquium—a discussion-based course—and because of the students.  Honors students are such a pleasure to work with.  I view my colloquium not as just another class I teach but as the beginning of ongoing scholarly relationships that can extend beyond my students’ undergraduate careers into graduate school or into their professional lives.  Teaching the colloquium helps keep me fresh and engaged, and it is why I look forward to the start of every semester.”
