Research Uncorked: Climate Change: Global and Local Impacts

Dr. Joseph Ortiz, Professor, Department of Geology, College of Arts and Sciences, Kent State University, will discuss his research related to climate change, projected global and local climate impacts, and what we might expect in years to come.

Dr. Ortiz earned his Ph.D. in oceanography from Oregon State University in 1995. He earned a bachelor of science with honors in aquatic biology from Brown University in 1988. His research interests include paleoclimate change and water quality by remote sensing.

This event will be held at The Secret Cellar, located at 176 E. Main St. in downtown Kent. Research Uncorked is open to the public.
