Yes, your RA can serve as a reference. If you have a strong relationship with an RA, RHD, ARHD, or anyone from University Housing staff, they may be an excellent source for a reference. Please keep in mind that all references for the RA position should be able to speak to a candidate’s qualifications and skills necessary for the RA position. Whenever asking for a reference, make sure to give the reference time to complete the task, and ask them in a professional manner prior to submitting their information as a reference.
