Employee Wellness Challenges


Be Mindful, Be Resilient
January 29 - February 25, 2018 

This 28-day program is designed to teach you to practice the skill of mindfulness, which in turn, increases your resilience. The modern world we live in is productivity driven and leads us to wear many hats. For example, we are family members, workers and friends. 

Whatever hats we wear or roles we play, they usually do two things — give and take energy away from us. Technology often makes wearing multiple hats easier, but it can also cause us to feel overwhelmed by information overload. When we wear too many hats, it can lead us to feel stressed by our daily lives. Stress can negatively impact your physical and emotional health, and it can cause you to engage in unhealthy habits. By practicing mindfulness, you can reduce your feelings of stress and improve your resilience.

Participants receive educational materials, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions. 

Each week, participants will be eligible for a random drawing to keep you motivated and support your wellness goals. Winners will be announced throughout the challenge. 

You must participate in all four weeks of this challenge to qualify for bonus reward points. This challenge is worth 20 reward points.

Sleep Soundly 
March 5 – April 1, 2018 

This 28-day program is designed to help you pay attention to the quantity and quality of your sleep. Similar to our diet and exercise habits, it can be difficult to make sleep a priority even though it is an essential part of healthy living. Sleep gives our body and mind the chance to repair, rebuild and recover from the events of our daily life. While you sleep, your body is able to increase cell production and repair itself. 

Throughout the 28-day program, we encourage you to: 

  • Establish a bedtime routine and follow it daily to improve your sleep habits. 
  • Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per day. 
  • Rate the quality of your sleep each day. 

Participants receive educational materials, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions.

Healthy Hydration
July 2 – 29, 2018 

This 28-day program is designed to help participants “rethink their drinks” because what we drink is just as important as what we eat when it comes to healthy nutrition.

Participants receive educational materials, H20 Tracker, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions. 

Each week, participants will be eligible for a random drawing to keep you motivated and support your wellness goals. Winners will be announced throughout the challenge.

Fill Up On Fiber 
August 27 – September 23, 2018 

A diet rich in fiber is a key part of healthy aging. It will reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and colon cancer. Other benefits include lower total and LDL cholesterol, weight management, and better digestion and absorption of key nutrients.

This 28-day program is designed to help you discover ways to increase your overall intake of this important nutrient for the rest of your life. The challenge will help you pay attention to your daily fiber intake and should teach you which foods will add to your health and which foods to avoid.

Participants receive educational materials, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions.
