Build A Better Breakfast 28-Day Challenge | Jan. 28 – Feb. 24, 2019

This 28-day program is designed to help you start every day with a nutritious breakfast. While breakfast is often skipped to accommodate our busy schedules, it doesn’t have to take a lot of time to put together a complete and nutritious meal that will power you through the day. Research shows that eating a complete breakfast greatly improves our overall health and well-being.

Throughout the 28-day program, we encourage you to:

  • Track if your breakfast contains whole grains, lean protein, fruits and/or vegetables.
  • Rate how your breakfast impacted your day.

Week 1: Level of hunger compared to normal.

Week 2: Energy level throughout the day.

Week 3: Healthy choices the remainder of the day.

Week 4: Mood throughout the day.

Participants receive educational materials, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions. 

Each week, participants will be eligible for a random drawing to keep you motivated and support your wellness goals. Winners will be announced throughout the challenge. 

You must participate in all four weeks of this challenge to qualify for bonus reward points. This challenge is worth 20 reward points.

Exercise Your Brain 28-Day Challenge | June 3 – June 30, 2019

During this 28-day challenge, you will learn the importance of brain health and how to maintain your mental status as you age. There are many lifestyle factors that play a role in brain health. Research shows mental fitness, physical activity, proper sleep and an active social life are a few of the most important players in maintaining your brain. 
Throughout the 28-day program, you will try to practice at least two of the following brain health focus areas each day! 

  • Mental Fitness 
  • Physical Activity 
  • Sleeping Soundly 
  • Social Interactions 

Participants receive educational materials, weekly emails and unlimited telephonic health coaching. Participants will report their progress on a weekly basis by submitting an email to KSU@bewellsolutions.com using the trackers provided by Be Well Solutions. 

Each week, participants will be eligible for a random drawing to keep you motivated and support your wellness goals. Winners will be announced throughout the challenge.

Simply Strength 28-Day Challenge | July 1 – 28, 2019 

Did you know lean muscle mass naturally diminishes with age? As the muscle diminishes, fat takes its place. Regular strength training is critical to help preserve the muscle mass you have now! Strength training can also help maintain your bone density, manage your weight, improve your ability to perform everyday tasks, and even improve cognition! 

Throughout the 28-day program, you will: 

  • Assess your current strength training habits 
  • Establish a S.M.A.R.T. goal related to your strength training for the next 4 weeks 
  • Learn about simple strength exercises to perform each week 
  • Plan your exercise each week 
  • Record and keep track of your progress 
  • Reward yourself for your success!

Common Cents 28-Day Challenge | Sept. 9 - Oct. 6, 2019

Take the first step toward a healthier financial future by joining the Common Cents Challenge. Participants will receive a “Common Cents Ledger” and weekly action items to help track daily saving activities, establish your financial baseline, and develop a long-view personal financial plan. By employing active and “centsable” financial management strategies, participants can realize a greater sense of empowerment, enthusiasm and satisfaction with life.
