BeneTip: Are over the counter Covid-19 tests still available at no cost for Kent State employees?

At-home Covid-19 tests are still available from CVS pharmacies at no cost to individuals covered under either university-sponsored health plan. To get your no-cost tests, you will need to present your CVS CareMark prescription card. Covered individuals can receive up to eight over-the counter (OTC) tests without a prescription per 30-day period.

You can also schedule a free Covid-19 vaccine shot or booster at CVS. Scheduling is quick and easy using their online portal. Remember to bring both your medical and prescription cards to your appointment.

As always, if you have any questions about this or other benefits topics, you’re welcome to connect with the Employee Benefits office. Call us at 330-672-3107 or email benefits@kent.edu.
