JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for intrusively engaging with, advocating for, and providing dynamic support to underrepresented and diverse students building resilience that fosters retention and persistence through graduation. Reports to Assistant Director of Academic Diversity Outreach within University College.

I worked at Esperanza, Inc. a nonprofit that supports the Latino community in the greater Cleveland area through family engagement, youth leadership, high school support programs, and post-secondary programs to help Latino students persist and graduate from college.
LIKES MOST ABOUT KENT STATE UNIVERSITY:
I enjoy the student interactions and the close-knit family feel in the department I work in.

HOBBIES:
I love to spend time with my family. I go back to Wooster to visit my little brother, talk to my parents, and play with my brother's German Shepard. I also love to travel to Mexico where my cousins, aunts, and uncles still live. Finally, I like to play soccer and watch all the games over the weekend.
