Building a Balanced Lunch Challenge* 
Aug. 7 - Sept. 3, 2023

While it can be tempting to work through lunch without stopping to eat, current research supports the benefits of taking a break to refuel with a midday meal. This challenge is designed to help you develop the habit of incorporating a well-balanced lunch into your daily work routine. It will also help you understand the most important components of building a balanced lunch including produce, hydration and taking a break.

Track your progress through the Be Well Solutions portal and participate in all four weeks of the challenge to earn 20 Tier 2 points. 

Participants must actively participate in all four weeks of the challenge. This challenge is worth 20 2023 Tier 2 Wellness Your Way reward points.

Stress Less Challenge*
Nov. 13 - Dec. 10, 2023

Stress can affect the body in many ways and it's important to understand your personal stressors so you can choose healthier ways to manage them. This challenge encourages the realistic approach of stress management rather than eliminating stress. You'll learn and practice various techniques to implement on a regular basis that can help you stress less. Throughout this challenge, your goal will be to practice stress management techniques and find healthier ways to handle stress.

This challenge will consist of the following components: Practicing stress management techniques like deep breathing, meditation and physical activity; finding healthy stress management techniques that you enjoy most and incorporating them into your routine regularly; evaluation of stress levels and stress management each week; reflection on challenge performance and strategies for future progress. 

Participants must actively participate in all four weeks of the challenge. This challenge is worth 20 reward points for Tier 2 2023.
