Safe Spacy Ally Training

Safe Space Ally Training aims to equip students, faculty and staff with the tools for creating Safe Spaces and welcoming environments for LGBTQ+ students on campus.

The Safe Space Ally program is a comprehensive, ongoing training offered through the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Training Lab of Kent State University, with the LGBTQ+ Center taking a lead role in providing curriculum and facilitators. The training has the overarching goal of making KSU a safer, more welcoming space for all students. Safe Space Ally Training is a 4-hour training session, which consists of an LGBTQ+ Vocabulary 101, as well as a panel of students identifying as LGBTQ+.
