Healthy Aging

Every person should have the opportunity to live a long and healthy life. Healthy aging is about creating the environments and opportunities that enable people to be and do what they value throughout their lives. Research has identified action steps we can take to maintain our health and function as we get older. Adopting healthy habits and behaviors like improving your diet and levels of physical activity, staying social and involved in your community, using preventive services, and managing health conditions can contribute to a productive and meaningful life.

There are abundant opportunities to make yourself and your health a priority this month. Browse September wellness offerings below, and don’t forget that the Tier 1 qualifying period for the 2022 Wellness Your Way Rewards Program opens on Sept. 1! Get a jump start by scheduling your onsite health screening (can also be completed with your primary care physician – visit the Be Well portal for details).
