Deborah Loiacono received her Bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Akron and her M.L.I.S. degree from Kent State University. She has close to twenty years of experience working in public libraries. Deborah's career has spanned departments and eventually led her to administrative work when she served as a member of the management team for Heights Libraries and as the library director in Port Clinton, Ohio. She returned to Westlake Porter Public Library in 2014 where she had started her library career. Deborah has been a member of the Kent State University adjunct faculty since 2013.
