Town Hall Talk with SLIS Director Kendra Albright
Kent State School of Library and Information Science Director Kendra S. Albright, Ph.D., invites all SLIS students to a live, online chat on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m.
The online learning environment offers many advantages, but it also comes with some challenges, particularly with regard to helping students feel like they are part of the School and its community. How can the School improve your experience in the online environment? How can we connect better with our students and create a “life of the school” or virtual community for all?
You have ideas, and we’d like to hear them. Register now to participate in this interactive forum. You can attend in person (room 332 of the KSU Library) or online. SLIS Assistant Professor Belinda Boon, Ph.D., will also be on hand for the discussion.
