UX Student/Faculty Chat

The School of Library and Information Science will be hosting guest speaker, Patrick Neeman, for the November UX student/faculty chat.

Neeman currently serves as the Director of Product Design at Apptio, which builds software that helps companies understand and manage their IT spend. He formerly served as Director of Product Design at nPARIO, a marketing analytics platform, and Director of User Experience at Jobvite, a social recruiting and applicant tracking platform.

Neeman will be chatting with students and faculty on two topics regarding User Experience. He will first talk about how to social engineer your organization, which involves finding and developing leverage points within one’s organization so that UX can become more firmly entrenched. He will additionally hold an open discussion on advice for nailing interviews and improving your UX portfolio.
