The PFLAG scholarship program is entering its 17th year and supports the next generation of leaders who have already been working tirelessly on numerous programs, projects, and activities aimed at making schools and communities safe and welcoming for all.
PFLAG's scholarships are open to U.S. and non-U.S. citizens .

FUTURE FEMALE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP Deadline: March 30th, 2018
StudySoup works to support students as they find success through education. Mothers, Mentors and Muses is the Women’s Center's signature event that recognizes Kent State University female-identifying faculty or staff who have made a significant difference in the life of a student or colleague. More than 375 women across the university have received this honor.

CCI GAME OF LIFE Wednesday, April 4th 5:30PM Center for Undergraduate Excellence (CUE)
The Game of Life, an interactive inequality simulation, is an immersion-style game played with real people, real emotions, but fake money. Gender, sexuality, race, and ability level affect each person’s life regardless of who they are or where they come from. This is an opportunity for participants to experience how privilege, poverty, and inequalities impact each of us in our everyday lives.
To participate, please arrive no later than 5:30PM.

Interactive and informative, the Green Dot bystander workshop provides an in-depth understanding about the Green Dot campaign and includes a comprehensive overview of power-based personal violence (intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, identity-based targeting, and bullying).

King Kennedy Community Center (KKCC) will be hosting an open house to celebrate 40 years of serving the community. KKCC uplifts McElrath Park residents who face challenges such as low-income and low educational attainment.
Kent State University and KKCC have a rich partnership. In 1978, Kent State students and McElrath Park residents came together to build the Center.

Lavender Graduation builds on the university-wide commencement events as an officially supported ceremony honoring the achievements of graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally (LGBTQ+) students at Kent State University.
The keynote speaker this year will be Dr. Thomas Serwatka, KSU MED ’73 & PhD ’76.
Students graduating in Spring 2018, Summer 2018, and Fall 2018 are encouraged to register. All are welcome to attend, but registration is also required for attendees.

KKCC NOW HIRING King Kennedy Community Center has 6 open spots for Camp Counselor positions. This is a paid position through AmeriCorps which comes with some benefits. Upon completion of this summer program, you have the opportunity to get an education grant or an end of the program stipend.

INTERN FOR THE KENT STATE WOMEN’S CENTER The Women's Center's Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate level students. The internship program will provide students with hands-on experience in a supportive environment and can be adjusted to meet their academic focus. Students will gain experience in social justice issues related to women’s equity, programming, leadership, health & well-being, and marketing.

Native American Student Association (NASA) is an intertribal student organization with the aim of providing a safe space for students from all backgrounds to learn and experience native cultures, discuss issues, and educate the public.
