New Campus-Wide Network Dedicated to Multimedia Devices

This summer, the MultimediaDevices network was launched. The new network replaced the Gaming network in the residence halls and extended the service to all buildings on the Kent Campus. The change resulted from a need for instructors to use such devices as Apple TV or Roku in their classrooms. Devices on this network must be preregistered at multimediadevices.kent.edu. Laptops and smartphones should continue to use the university’s preferred wireless network, Kent State Wireless.
