Early December we received a visit from our Salesforce Success Manager Heather Quigley-Allen and Account Representative Joyce Kish. Heather and Joyce spent their day engaging with several groups on campus. They met with a few of the Student CRM implementation team members to showcase how Salesforce communities work and what other customers have built out with the out of the box functionality.

View an example of the many possibilities with communities.

While onsite Heather and Joyce had the opportunity to attend a weekly architecture meeting that includes Information Services and representatives from each of our implementation partners. To further support our architecture needs, Heather will be leading a technical best practices workshop when she comes back onsite in January. Heather and Joyce are also playing a supporting role in the on-going enterprise implementation of the Marketing Cloud by meeting with UCM who has been live with Marketing Cloud for over a year, with the initial implementation being the prior product, Exact Target.

Salesforce continues to support Kent State and the Higher Education space by one-on-one support with onsite visits with our Success Manager Heather, as well as, the upcoming Salesforce Higher Ed Summit scheduled for April 27-29 in Austin Texas. We had a large group attend this very informative conference last year. Joyce informs that it is expected to be a sell-out this year.
